I've ridden NF pants since the DP3.
My DP5s in Macha arrived in time for my MTB trip to Quebec. Our first day at Le Massif was a cool 20 degrees celsius and raining. My DP5's kept me dry without restricting my movement on the bike. In fact, I didn't even think about the weather or my pants, and just enjoyed the trails. To me, that's exactly what I want from my riding gear. The NF DP5's are worth every penny.
From a technical perspective, the DP5's fit the same as my DP4's, but the materials feel better and seem a little more water resistant. I like the open top pockets while the zippered side-leg pockets are perfect for your lift pass.
