My new favourite riding pants. Attention to detail is apparent and, finally, pocket placement that actually makes sense. The pants are light weight, flexible and comfortable yet still strong and durable. Although not advertised as waterproof, they did keep me mostly dry on some relatively wet rides last weekend. The material seems to wick water away better than other brands.
I was a bit skeptical of the unisex fit but the sizing chart was accurate. For reference, I am 5’2” and a medium in the Dharco pants. I went with a small and they fit perfectly.
Will be trying other NF products and recommending to all my friends!
Good for biking, good for soccer, good for casual, good for my wardrobe. Bought 1, working on the other colors. Have 2 DP5, will get more soon. Sold my other biking pants to fund these. Well worth it. Lovely form, designed well, forget i'm wearing them both on and off the bike. Cuts wind well in the cold (dry, 40F), without overheating. Not noisy like some pants. And beyond 5 stars in terms of service, one of the best, if not the best, customer service experiences I've had (I mean, not life changing, but totally awesome and worth talking about)(refunded me some money when I bought some pants 2 days before they dropped a big deal, after I asked them nicely). Do it, buy them, you probably won't regret it
Well, considering I am making excuses to wear them for pretty much anything, I can say I quite like them. Great length for an average proportioned guy like me, and the taper is perfect. The foot opening isn't too tight also, nor tough to get the foot through, unlike some other unnamed brands (Fix? Fax?) Anyways...
Winter is setting in where I am, and the DP5 Are proving their worth as cooler season riding pants. A 40F (7.2C) ride on my roadie was very comfortable, as the DP5 cut the cold wind, yet weren't stiflingly hot. Pedaling is very comfortable also, I can't notice really anything wrong while on the bike, so the design is top notch. Wearing them around all day doesn't look bad either, and so they're quickly becoming a daily driver pair of pants. My only complaint is that the waistband, while mostly comfortable, does tend to get a bit tight by the end of the day, and you have to make sure you don't have any wrinkles in clothing between the band and your waist. Admittedly, anything other than PJ is uncomfortable by the end of the day.. Suffice me to say, I've fallen in love, and will own most all the colors.
Great addition to my gear collection. Love the liteweight pant and naturally wanted to check out this jacket. This is a great piece to layer with in the colder weather when a full waterproof shell isn't needed and a little extra breathability is desired. Wish the hood had a way to tighten it up a bit, but not a deal breaker by any means. Has done well on gravel and MTB rides and would recommend.
